Urban Burger in Cranford

My second time ordering to give it another try and the burgers need more flavor for my taste ... not enough seasoning. The lettuce for the side salad was wilted. I’m surprised they didn’t know to put the side salads in a separate container from the burgers. The response from the owner was immediate and apologetic. I am optimistic and will reconsider ordering again!

Highly recommend this place! Great service, decor is good and good music. Oh and the burger was great! I got a Ladder31 turkey burger and it was amazing from the first to last bite. The buns were freshly baked across the street at Breadsmith and you could tell. The service was awesome — polite and helpful :) go here if you’re hungry!

Great experience here. Burger was substantial (most normal people would consider it HUGE, it's about the size I expect at a place like this), prepared well (would have preferred it a bit more rare) and a terrific combination (it was the Hefer Smothered in Onions). Fries were tasty and hot. Parking (metered) was available right nearby but likely would be a challenge at peak times. Service was a teeny bit slower than I expected but that just gave us time to relax and enjoy the meal. Smallish number of seats, so it probably fills up quickly at peak times. Friendly wait staff. Recommended. I'd eat there again!

I went about 10-15 mins before close and ordered food but a cook came from the kitchen and said "kitchens closed". Why would you not just close the whole store if you aren't going to be serving any food at an open restaurant? I drove 30+ minutes to try a burger but after this I'm very disappointed and will not be coming back. Terrible customer service. I've never been to a business that didn't want my money. This was shameful.

I cant comment on the food because I've never ate there but the fact that I had to wait over an hour and fifteen minutes for a Doordarsh delivery is ridiculous. Idk whats going on but thats not acceptable by any means

You can tell they make the burgers fresh I did not have to wait that long for me food either!!!I definitely will come here again and now I know it is a black owned business👍🏾👍🏾

I come to this outstanding restaurant many times since I enjoy the good mood that is unique to this restaurant. The staff is exceptionally attentive and qualified. The service is exceptionally efficient. Most important, the food they cook is great. I ate there often and I was always joyful. The cost is decent. I highly suggest this place to my friends and family.

It’s all about the selection here and not just a burger place. Big portions and unique options. Breakfast options on Sundays I heard are very good.

Great food great service. I really enjoyed the Bb Mac with sweet potatoes fries! As a pork and bbq lover it's the perfect blend. Also the Ladder 31 is delicious for all the people who loves spice!

Good place for burgers. A solid choice for adults but not a place for kids. The brie and fig burger is surprisingly tasty. My kids had grilled cheese, but it was made with burger buns, so it was a strange texture. They also were out of the apple slice side listed on their menu, so it came with fries. The kids were happy about that, but I wish the healthier fruit option was available.

Very cozy and hip place to eat. Love the atmosphere. There's always some type of cool & fresh music playing in the background. The food is AWESOME and I'm never able to finish my meal because you get a good size portion (which is a great thing). I travel from a state over just to have their food. Whenever i'm in Jersey I HAVE to make a stop there (whether its eat in or take out). I would DEFINITELY recommend their food to everyone.

Great service and shakes! had an amazing time especially because of my waitress Evelin. Great variety of burgers and sides, very creative. Free to play card games was an amazing amenity. Great place to take out friends and have a wonderful time.

If you are looking for a place other than fast food burgers then try urban burger. It was a delicious burger and a good size. The fries were fresh, long, and tasty. They have a bunch of unique burguers and you can also build your own.

The burgers were pretty good, the menu a bit confusing. Mozzarella sticks are a must try! Loved watching Forrest Gump while having dinner! Service was good too.

food was amazing! the grilled cheese is a great size and is so cheesy. My server was great too, very positive and funny. I highly recommend this place for weekend fun !

Now this is a burger 🍔 spot! The service and quality of the food is great! Nice cozy restaurant you can grab a bite to eat with your significant other or family! My favorite is the Wicked Blue Burger a nice mixture of spice and crunch get a milkshake to go with it and I’m in burger heaven!!!

Excellent service. Evelin had a great attitude. Food came out fast. I got it exactly how I wanted. Would definitely recommend. I also recommend getting a shake.

We traveled a bit to eat from Urban Burger. The food was okay, burgers were very dry and the milk shakes did not look anything like the picture and were really warm. When we walked in the two young waitress were arguing about who would serve us because none of them wanted to. We weren't asked for separate checks or how the food was or anything. The service was not great at all. I might give it a second chance one day.

Highly recommend good meat for the burgers. Cool combinations with flavor and a nice chill area to eat. Good price on the food. Various fries to get and combos to eat. If you are looking for a enjoyable and filling burger this is a great spot.

Very good burgers that were tasty and savory!! We got the Wicked blue burger with a Oreo milkshake (which I 100% recommend) loved it all and will definitely come back again

Service was good, food wasn't worth $14 to me. Burger was dry, onion rings weren't done all the way, my milkshake was the best I've ever had. But the server made that, and she was awesome, really cute too. But I'm not going back, bc it's not good enough to have to pay a meter to park and get mediocre food.

Service was awful. Sat down and looked at the menu. Waitress asked if we needed a few minutes. We said just anither minute so we can decide. That turned into about 10. She never even took our drink order. She came back and we ordered food and drinks. Took awhile yet to still actually get our drinks. The dirty fries (chili and cheese) tasted fine but they were not very hot and we're very greasy. I ordered the ladder 31 burger. Tasted good. The only reason it tasted good was because of all the toppings and sauce. The burgers by themselves had zero flavor. Pricey for what your actually get. Heard good things about thus place. Definitely will not be back.Thanks for the spell check. Unfortunately it doesn't help your food or service.

5 star Employees, 5 star Food, 5 star atmosphere. I was super pleased with my stay at Urban Burger. Urban burger is a positive environment with amazing food, and I have personally added this restaurant on my list of favorites whenever I’m in jersey! Highly recommended!!

Great burgers and shakes!

One of the very best burgers I’ve had in Jersey. The atmosphere with the music and decor adds even more appeal. Will continue to be a repeat customer every time I find myself in Jersey. Have told numerous friends and they have had the same reaction. Urban Burgers has created something special.
